I have a Topaz Pbx, main software ver is 8.00, equipped with 9 COs & 24 stations. the trunks are diveded into 3 groups, one for PSTN calls, the other 2 groups are for calling 2 cellular provider companies. I want to restrict all stations to use PSTN lines when making cell calls, and to restrict all stations to make PSTN calls via the Cellular trunk groups. I found that when I add the area code to the res. table it will affect all trunk groups, in other words toll restriction is provided per system and not per trunk group. any one can help to solve this problem? regards.

I am not familiar with Topaz, but it sounds like you want Automatic Route Selection (ARS), not Toll Restriction.
ARS may also be called LCR (Least-cost Routing). If Topaz supports LCR or ARS, this will allow you to designate the trunk groups as "routes" with first choice route (PSTN) and second choice routes (Cellular) based on dialed digits.

In a quick Google, I was able to discover that Topaz does support LCR, but may call it ACR. Searching your manuals for LCR or ACR should give you the information that you need.
If you don't have manuals, your dealer or technician should have them.
LCR can be a little bit difficult -- it tends to be advanced programming, and many technicians do not "get" it right away. An experienced dealer is your best choice.

The Topaz software is basically that of the IPK2 and 8100 but a little less of it.. We stopped selling them here about 16 months ago when the 8100SE arrived on the scene..

Please help me to help you:
How do you dial a PSTN number? (ie 9-citycode-#)? How do you dial a Cel number? (ie 9-celcode-#)?
Once I know I may help you use ARS/F-Route to work it out...

pstn is called by 0 + city number. Cell number is called by 42+ cell number for cell provider group1 and 43 + cell number for cell provider group 2.

You can use ARS for your requirement, assign access code "0" as F-route. Use Command 44 which is for ARS when the user dials 0+PSTN call will be routed through PSTN trunk group, similarly for cell numbers 0+cell number will be routed through 2 cell trunk group.
This way you can restrict the calls for PSTN and cell numbers through the respective trunks.
