Periodically while talking on Aspire IP phone that is at a remote site (connecting to Aspire CPU across VPN), the user hears 3 or 4 beeps on the call. My theory is this has something to do with bandwidth issues and the system warning you, but I'm just not sure.

Any input would be appreciated.

Sounds like call waiting. This can be turn off in system programming.

I've already checked that, plus this is a full-feature 4 Button NEC IP phone (Not Third party mfg phone), the secondary call rings through to CALL2 key.

Look for muted off hook ringing.

Wasn't Off hook ringing, still looking. I still think it has to do with network bandwidth and some type warning / voice path dropping

I am not aware of anything in the Aspire system that can produce a warning tone for bnadwidth issues.

There are a number of warning beeps for other things though. Long conversation warning tone, etc. I would look at the settings on those.

That does sound like call waiting tones. I've never encountered that problem either. Let us know what you find!!
