how do you get into the config of the phone? its not finding an ip address via dhcp (i can see the phone requesting one in the dhcp server logs) but it just says dhcp connecting...

I want to manually assign an ip address but cannot find out the key sequence to get into config mode on the phone...

What system are you programing the phone for? Aspire, UX5000?

I have tried hold,conf * # and it doesn't work. this phone doesn't have a transfer button. I believe the pbx is an aspire system but i'm not at the location to double check that

On the Aspire IP keyset, enter the phone’s program mode by pressing HOLD CONF * #.
This enters the IP User Menu program mode to select the settings for the individual
phone.
To enter the phone’s program mode, the display must show the time, error, or “Connecting”
message prior to pressing HOLD CONF * #.
