Customer had an employee leave(fired) and they couldnt get into her mailbox, didnt know password. I planned to delete the mailbox and then put it back but I cant quite figure out. Used to do it on IVS 2000s no problem.It is a 4 port in skin, probably AD8.Any way to back door or do this simply. Thanks

Thats my problem Skip, I cant tell who the system administrator is.Kind of a screwy deal, systems been relocated 3 times, users come and go,most of the phones dont have a full time user.How can I ID the administrator?

Is it an intramail or an ultramail?
If it is an intramail you can make a mailbox an SA mailbox in Phone System programming

If you can get into system programming you can designate an admnistrator...if not start at x300 and go from there

Think maybe I found it after I located the manual Program 1808, I think.Thanks for the help guys

1808 is the memory block you are looking for...
extension 300 is the administrator by default

Pulled a big DUH HUH. I thought system was a DS1000 but it was a IVS 1000, big difference.Password had been changed, lady that changed it had been fired and wouldnt tell.Long story short, we had to default the VMS. No big deal, only 5 phones. Thanks everyone for replies.
