Hello - somewhat new to NEC IPK II - learning OTJ. Currently, when a caller decides to zero out of voice mail (Elite Mail LX) , they are returned to the main operator ext. 300. What I need to do is have this ring the 3 stations that are up front (which are already set up in a ring group) instead of just ext. 300 - I'm thinking I need the call revert to go to the ring group instead of what I assume is set somewhere as the operator default @ 300. Where should I be looking to make the appropriate changes on the IPK & Elite?

Thanks.
Carl

find out the ring group number then look in your dial cation table in your voice mail for that group. and change from 300 to the ring group. make sure you are making changes to the proper dial action table.

Check your opening box 1 digit dialing alone with your transaction boxes, point 0 to your ring group.

Also check each mailbox 1 digit dialing tables.

Apart from the service code in PRG 11.15.09 (8100) how do you transfer to a RG from the voicemail?? Have I missed something over the past 4 years or so?? :-)

Transfer to the departmental pilot number used for the ring group.

On the 8100/UX5000 you can transfer to a ring group.

First you have to set a access code for transfer to ring groups in 11-15-09

Using InMail in the DAT the action would be this code.

The ring group selected is the ring group asigned to the trunks in 22-05 for each nite mode.

Works great, dont forget about what you have set 22-08 as it could wind up in a loop if you don't get disconnect signal from the trunks when the calling party hangs up.

This came along from the Aspire system.

Thanx T&R.

That's how I have been doing it here.

If anyone want to know how to transfer to multiple ring groups from voicemail download this TIB.
