I have a customer with 3 networked 384i with 16 port nvm2000 series voicemail. Two of the systems are 3 cab, and nearly full. The last is only a one cabinet.

I would like to replace things little by little, starting with the last switch. The only trunks on it are the t1 card going to another switch for voicemail, DID incoming from another supertrunk(t1), and transferring of calls. I'm thinking of moving some of the vm ports so they are directly coming off of the new switch.

Would this work? What are the pit falls?

The networking on the i-series is completely different.
