I'm stumpted on this one. I have an SV8100 extension that rings fast busy when you pick up the handset, but gets a dial tone when you press the speaker button. I can press the speaker button then pick up the handset and keep the dial tone. Just lifting the handset gives fast busy.
This extension has the same class of service as others, same MLT setup as others. Can't find anything different in PC Pro that is set any different yet this one line is the only one doing this. I have swapped out the phone too. This started on its own about a week ago and no changes were made to the switch.
I have rebooted the switch. The only thing I can think of left to do is move that extension to another port. Too bad to abandon the port though.
Any thoughts?

Never mind. Right after I posted this I found the answer (of course!)
It was 15-01-02 Basic Extension - Automatic Trunk Line Seizure. Somehow it got turned on for that extension.
I searched for 3 days for the cause and find it right after posting a question for help. Isn't that always the way?!
