Greetings,

We are about to ditch our current manufacturer for reasons such as; frequent equipment failure and poor tech support. If anyone can recommend a reputable manufacturer (smallto medium business size)out there that is also cost competitive, your opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Wow. If your current supplier is in your name, I guess I could understand. The equipment is good, too bad they keep stabbing dealers in the back.

Depending on who you listen to, there are 4 top small system makers; NEC, Panasonic, Avaya, and Nortel. "They" don't mention who comes next, so good luck with that.

XBlue and TransTel both are very good to their dealers. I'm sure there are others some will be dictated by your size and the amount of business you do.

This really should be in the Installers forum, but leaving it here as the OP doesn't have Installers access as yet.

XBlue yes, TransTel I don't know to make comment.
AVAYA IP Office is here to stay, and a very good product.

Great tech support from TransTel. A bit of a learning curve to program, but very flexible.

NEC's DSX series is solid and feature rich. Tech support is very good also.
