I tried searching the NEC DS1000/2000 Multibutton Telephone Feature Handbook Manual but can not find how to call from the outside to check Voice Messages during work hours and after hours.
When I call during work hours, I have the receptionist place me directly into the extension (304) to leave a voice mail. I wait to hear for the personal greeting of the mailbox and typed #. When I use the # sign, I am exited out of the system. The only option to use is 3 (erase), 5 (listen), * (pause), and # (exit). When I type 3 twice, it brings me to the Main Greeting menu. I then try for another attempt at 304 with a different set of combinations.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks Donny
