I recently had to replace an NEC Aspire 24 button phone that went bad. This was the receptionist phone and it has a 24 button DLS add on console attached to the right side. I removed this from the old phone and connected to the new phone but for some reason the new phone is not 'recongnizing' it's there. I've tried it on other units just to be certain with no luck. What am I missing? How do I 'tell' the new phone that this is there? Thanks in advance!

No, I put it back on the original phone to check this(original phone just had a bad LCD) and it works just fine.
