Hi Everybody,

I need to send touch-tones from digital station units to SLI circits but our system is blocking them on internal calls.

We have an auto-dialer door alarm system connected to an SLI circuit. It dials an SIE mapped to a LK on our digital stations. When it calls the users must send touch-tones to acknowledge the dialer message but right now tones from digital stations only get transmitted during outside calls.
Note: I can send tones between internal SLI circuits.

I can't seem to find any MB that explicitly
references this.... any ideas ?

You don't need tones from a perticular digit right? Just a tone? Try ** or ## or *#, #*. I seen this a Long time ago can't remember.

Go to MB 4-35 and change the analog ports to VMS ports and you will be able to DTMF from MLTs to the analog device. As Rickman said "It's been along time"

Yes, indeed; MB 4-35 applied to the SLI port allowed our MultiLine Terminals to send DTMF tones to the analog phone-alarm device.

"It's been a long time....." Yeah: I guess our IPK is a bit of a dinsaour but it still is reliable and that is what counts around here.
