Hello,

I'm new at doing system admin for my NEAX 2000 IPS. How do I program a busy lamp on one of the buttons on a Dterm 32D? I saw someone wrote to do the following:

Feature
Redial
Button on the phone
1
the ext you want on that button
Feature

It doesn't work for me. Are these even the right instructions for that? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Basically you need to assign memory location to every Dterm that you need busy lamp indication. Follow command 73, 94 to assign memory. The numbers you are storing in the keys need memory.

For commands 73 and 94, how do I go about finding/assinging a memory "slot"?

Thanks a bunch for the info. It helped a lot. One more related question. Now that I have the extensions on the phone, how can I keep them from ringing on the phone? The admin person only wants to see the light on her phone when the managers are using their phone.
