I have a customer that has had intermittent issues with echoing and noise on their PRI. They have a standard ISDN PRI, 23 channels + D Channel. Connection is straight from the smart jack to the PRI card, no carrier equipment in between. This is the hub with 3 other offices networked via Netlink. We originally thought is was a QOS issue on the network but now the users on the Hub hear the poor quality issues on outbound calls which does not ride over any netlink connection. Anyone have any ideas on anything I can adjust in programming? Carrier has said it is not there issue and there are no adjustments they can make.

How many PRI do you have? If you have more then one can you swap them and see if the noise follows a PRI. I had the same thing happen to a T-1 and it ended up being a bad card at the CO office.

You should be using a CSU in-between the equipment if this is a vanilla PRI from the carrier.

We have only 1 PRI and there is no CSU in between. We have several of these connected from the smart jack directly to the PRI card and work great on both the UX and SV. I will continue to push the Carrier. We all know how that goes.

The UX and SV do not come with a CSU built in. The proper way is indeed to have the CSU for lbo issues as well as testing points.
