I got a call today asking if a cordless phone can be used with this system. I asked them if they had checked with their current vendor. They do not have a current vendor. I suspect that there would be an analog card that is already there or could be added. They are looking for someone who works on that system in the Minneapolis area.

With all the variables involved, I am amazed when any voice and data technology works like it is supposed to.

Do you mean a DS 2000 or a 2000 IPS?
The 2000 IPS certainly supports analog ports, which could be used for analog cordless. I think that NEC also made a dTerm cordless, which would work with 2000 IPS.

You could use analog cordeless. Or the dterm adapter for cordless as well.
