What can cause this to happen. We can receive incoming calls but when we dial out it goes to a busy signal. Telephone company says they can make calls from the PRI box so it must be our PBX equipment. Any ideas?

Is this a new PRI?

Did you have your NEC dealer install the PRI equipment?

Have you tried using direct trunk access? How is your ARS set up?

We need to know more about your System, Is this a New Install? Have the Phones Been Programed with CAP Keys? How Much of the System is Programed?

The phone system has been working for a couple weeks scince it was reprogramed, just the other day it stopped making outbound calls.

I would call the dealer back as a warranty call, and have the dealer troubleshoot it.

Can these systems be programed remotely? Does a tech even have to come out to do that?

If it has a MIFM card, a tech may be able to dial in. It depends on how the dealer set it up.

Don't flinch on the cost; it's less than you're losing in productivity, most likely.
