My company PBX is having issues randomly through the day it is restarting itself. When this happens all calls drop and it takes about 5 minutes before the system is back online. I have had our NEC contractors out twice this week and they have looked at the system & I collected an error log "using hyperterminal collecting the log to a text file" Which the NEC tech sent off on Wednesday but still no reply. In the meantime waiting for them I wanted to see if anyone on here has had this happen in the past and if so how it was fixed. Any info would be great I can paste some of the log files if needed. Thanks

Possibly a loose power cord, faulty building electrical system, or the power supply in the Elite could be faulty.

Working with my local support team We replaced the cpu board with another to test. After a week no reboots and all seem well. Now we have to transfer my companies license off the bad CPU to the one the is currently in DEMO mode. Now I have a new problem The last two people that were in charge of my company IT dept did not do any up keep and I have been correcting this. But the paper work from when the company got the NEC system is missing half of it. Including most of the licensing paperwork. So the last three days I have been looking all over for this info. I hope I can located if not I have no clue how much NEC will charge for new license

try backing up the OLD CPU, DEFAULTING the OLD CPU, and reapply the Backup data base.. .See how that works first.. ALL OF YOUR LICENSING WILL STAY INTACT.
If you go with the new CPU & If you lost your licensing paperwork, you will need to purchase new licenses...
As for the licenses that you do have; Your NEC dealer will have to get them released by NEC.
