I have the voice mail transfer to a virtual extension when caller dials 0 so it rings on 2 phones, can I have the call go to mailbox 100 if not answered ? If so how do I set that up ?
This is on a IPK with elitemail.
Thanks

The virtual extension would need to have a transaction box owned by x100. & then set the virtual cfna to the vm pilot.

When you build the transaction box, it will ask you who owns it.

You will find transaction boxes by going to subscriber mailboxes and then pressing F6 twice. You must do this from Cosessions, not from the TUI.

Or you can press Ctrl-T for transaction box setup

Ctrl-D = User Directory
While here you can use CTRL-E for expanded options and CTRL-J to "jump" to a specific user.

Ctrl-A = Easymade Application screen
Ctrl-S = System/Switch setup
Ctrl-T = Transaction box setup

I configured transaction mailbox with virtual extension number. I have a few problems, first it does not ring when they press 0 it goes to mailbox 100 right away, I have forward B/NA set to voice mail.( I haven't tried just Call forward NA)
Second it does not play the main greeting it plays the mailbox name.
Third when mailbox user 100 listens to the message it says message from "virtual extension number". Can this be changed and how ?
Thanks

In the Tbox there is an option that says "TRANSFER".

This is probably set to NO, you want to set it to YES>>X

And release...

Seriously, I think you have to set the transfer type to release, as well, you want the call to transfer to the VE, then fwd/bna to the t-box.

As to the second issue, you can change the recorded name of that t-box, to "operator box", for example. That way you know where the message is from.

I got it to transfer, there is no release option that I can find in the transaction box.
It still plays the name and it screens the transfer so there is no caller ID when ringing.
