Has anyone had issues when dialing an extension or an external call the MH240 beeps in the ear piece?
When dialing extension to extension is ok but as soon as the other extension picks up the MH240 beeps and hangs up. Dialing offsite does the same thing but only when the trunk is seized. Thanks for your help.

That one is a puzzle! It sounds like the access to that handset is restricted for some reason.
I had lots of issues setting up a fairly large wireless system using the MH240s - NEC tech support connected me with a 3rd party vendor that makes that equipment. The guy I talked to was extremely helpful.
If you have access to NEC support - you may want to try taking that route as well.....
