I have a customer with an Aspire equipped with the DECT card and wireless phones. They go through these phones like crazy and they're tuff to replace. My question is, can the DSX DECT phones be used as a replacement? I think not as they are different phones on different hardware/software, but if someone has knowledge of this, let me know.

Nope, Completely different animal.
The Aspire DECTs were made by Kirk (Swedish) then Kirk sold out to Spectra Link.
Unfortunatly there are no replacements. NEC dropped them at the last of the Aspire manufacturing cycle.
I believe even the Nortel people have the same problem as they used Kirk/Spectraling on the Option series.
