I'm about to move a client's DSX-80. System Ver. is 01.01.21.
Before I un-plug the system, I'd like to back-up the database to my laptop.
I have a copy of System Administrator Ver. 2.21. Will this version work with the version of the system I'm moving? Release notes indicate "This version of System Administrator is backward compatible with all prior versions of System Administrator data files and installed System Software"...

OK. Do you know what battery it is? I won't be visiting the site before the move (Fri).
As to my original question: Will v. 2.21 work with Ver. 1?
Edit: I read the manual: CR2032 battery.

Version 2.X System Administrator WILL connect to any version 1.X or 2.X System Software. You're good to go with that, Danny.
