We have a NEC SV8100 that is having an issue with the MOH when involving a PRI channel(IP Flex circuit) The music sounds great as BGM on a digital station, so it is NOT the source. I have tried several diferent music sources all with the same result. I have adjusted the gain in 10-4-03 up and down. I do not have a SLT port or I would test using a loop around (SLT port to analog CO port) and test that way. Any ideas ? Carrier ?

Are you set to use BGM on all the PRI trunks as the source?

Have the carrier set the channels as G711 or fax. Sometimes on flex circuits they have the channels set at low data rates distorting music.
