I was wondering if the new NEC SV8100 phones (DTL) would work on a NEC IPK system ?

here in Holland the NEC DT300 phones work on an ASPIRE system that has firmware version a7.63. IPK not in Holland.

Yes, you may want to consider the retro keypad (has conference key and rocker volume pad).

Listen to doghart -- Install a retro keypad if youre using DTL's on an Electra Elite or IPK.
You'll have to change the keypad type for this to work, but the retro keypads come with instructions that are a breeze to follow.
Confirmed this setup works, I have a pretty large IPK (3 cabinets, all ports maxed) using DTL's /w retro keypads.

Did the keys remap correctly i.e 1~6 or did they map 1~4??
We have had not much success down here with them as far as key mapping goes..

paulw: No, sadly the keys don't remap very nicely at all. I have a file that I've had for a while that shows you how the keys are remapped if that will make things easier for you.
I've done enough of them to know now that there will be a bunch of button reprogramming every time we install DLT's on an Elite or IPS.
Sadly, there is no way to remap the keys 1 for 1.
