I am trying to set up a mh160 phone. I have the phone configured I believe. I have gone into the 8500 and set up the ASPO. When I turn the phone back on from the programing charging cradle I get no SIP server on file. I know i have 20 of these phones and 20 licenses in the system. I believe I have to do something with ASPTL but it won't let me yet.

Did you ever get this one working? I'm running into a similar situation: Trying to get a 3rd party SIP phone working. I got it programmed in ASPO, and then in ASPTL just as described in the manual, but the phone is not able to register. Every call I'm trying to make comes back with a SIP error 403.
That message has something to do with bad SIP username and/or password, but I can't imagine I messed those up and couldn't get them right after 3-hours of experimenting.

Thank you for the reply. The problem I'm running into is that ASPO only takes max 5-digit extensions, while all my extensions are 6-digit. I tried to create a 5-digit ext in ASPO, and then in ASPTL I "mapped" (?) that to a 6-digit extension I wanted to set up, but I have no idea if that's correct. There is also the ASPW command to create a password, but then again, I have no idea if what I'm doing in ASPO is even correct to begin with. Do you have a good understanding of these commands to get me going on this subject?
