Hi. I'm working on a NEC Aspire S with a NVM-2E and I'm having difficulty programing one trunk line to ring to a call routing mailbox during night ring only. Any help would be appreciated greatly. Thank you very much for looking https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/icons/icon7.gif

First question is, can you get the Aspire to ring directly to the 2e at night? If you can, then the programming you need to do is with the 2e. You need to set up the Answer Table, assigning a Call Routing mailbox to the answer table and a Dial Action Table to the Call routing Mailbox.

There are already two Call routing boxes answering 5 lines only the 3E answers when the system is put in night mode via a night btn. So you're saying that I program the 2E to answer the additional trunk even though there is no set time for it to answer?

If you want the 2e to answer all lines immediately at night, you should DIL those lines to the 2e. By default, all ports on the 2e should go to the first answer schedule table, AST-1. From there, you set the time and Call Routing mailboxes. Do you have a 2e manual to guide you through this?

Do you mean Direct inward line? The line (2) is to be answered during the day and only go to VM at night. I have the manual as much as it helps.

Any lines you want to go directly to VM should be set to DIL to VM at nite, probably mode 2.

In menu number 22-02, you set the line to DIL to the VM in nite mode(mode two). Use program 22-07 to enter the VM master number as the DIL destination.
If you look at those two menu items, it will be pretty clear to you what you need to do......

Iam working with now with the tech who started this thread. At night line 1 is answered by call routing mailbox 802 lines 3-5 by routing mailbox 803 and we would like line 2 to be answered by routing mailbox 804 where do we place the info to go routing mailbox 804

It should be in the DIL programming - menu number 22-07.
