Have a system where the Auto Attendant answers. Caller selects a user. Second call comes in and selects the same user who is busy with the first. Although I have all settings forwarding to voice mail pilot 3999 for all fields in 24-09 (Set to Busy/No Answer), the InMAIL still rings the extension 4x as set in 24-02.

No matter which parameter I try in 24-09 it does not change. The system has 3.0 software.

Am I possibly missing a setting, or does anyone know if this is a software issue? Haven't had this issue with other systems I've installed.

Try setting 20.09.07 Call queing to off and see if that helps.. Also make sure that it's not transferring to an operator defined in 20.17

I think ttech has it- if 20-09-01 is enabled, the phone set can get a second call -even when busy on a current call.

The phone wouldn't truly show as busy unless it already had 2 active calls.......

It may be a mix of all three. Time for some trial and error till it works.

Great. Thank you everyone. I will try these parameters out.

I can see what you mean about having to have two call paths busy before it considers it to actually be too busy for a third.
