Anyone else have trouble logging onto SL1100 with PC Pro? I sure would rather do my initial programming via laptop rather than by telephone. I can't get my laptop to connect to the KSU. I'm going directly from laptop to KSU with an CAT5e jumper. Laptop IP address of 192.168.0.20 with the KSU set to 192.168.0.10. Sound right?

I would look at program 10-12-01 with the Telephone programming. That would be the IP address i would try. It works for me.

Don't you need a crossover cable if you are connecting directly?

I don't know. The pc pro window that comes up only has an entry for ip address. So I don't know how to check the subnet of the ksu. I'm not using VoIP.

10-12-02 for the subnet.

Go in to Tel programming with the keyset and you kind find both Ip address and the subnet like i said.

Good luck bluzman with the 1100. It sure is a different animal to program.I don't know if i ever will master it. I have two systems in the office but don't feel like the time is right to start selling it.
