The call duration timers are not working for several users of our IPKII system. We use Dterm 80 phones (8-lines & 16 lines). How do I reset/program the timers on the phones so the duration of a call can be documented accurately? At least one phone has stopped tracking time after thinking every second is 1 minute, while another phone thinks every second is 15 seconds. Please help.

Are you referring to the call duration time that shows on the display during a call?

I have 1 IPKII system this happened on. Every second of talk time registers as 15 seconds on the elapsed call timer on the screen of the phone.

Faulty CPU, not under warranty.

Spend lots of money to replace and reprogram or just live with it.

Yes, I am talking about the display during a phone call. There's a counter/timer display to show how long a person is on the phone. At least two of our phones are not counting correctly but the discrepancies are not the same. One phone counts in 15 seconds, and another counts in 30 seconds. Not all of the callers have reported the problem, but I suspect it's all the phones. We found a programming code for turning the display on or off, but we don't have a code for re-setting/synchronizing the timer to count accurately. I surely hope it's not a CPU. We would like to try programming it first, if it's possible. All help is appreciated.

I would try backing up the Database, Initialize CPU and try it indefault to see if problem continues. If problem clears, reload Database and try it again.
