I have a feature button on one phone blinking and the extention light blinking of that phone on the main phone. How do I make them stop?

What brand of phone system?
Sounds like you have that extension set to 'Do Not Disturb'.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

Hi Becki welcome to the forum We need more info to help you. What brand/model telephones do you have? What is the blinking light labeled as? What happens if you push the blinking console button? Watch display besides listening for tones.

the phone says NEC. my book on it says electra elite. I think it is e192 but not sure. the light is the feature on his phone and on my master phone it is his extention light. When I push it on my end is is busy. on his end when pushed from his phone the light goes stedy then starts to blink again

Becki,
Press the feature key and the blinking button, tell us what comes up in the screen.

Go to his phone, press the feature button, dial 69, then press the feature button again. I do believe his phone is in DND, "do not disturb". If I got the DND cancel code wrong, look in your "book" under do not disturb, or call forward all. Your book is the user guide, correct? It should be feature 60 feature to set DND & feature 69 feature to cancel. Let us how you fare.
