Hello to all, I'm working with an FMS Voicemail on an IPK and I'm missing something. When I add the &,9,,(Tel No.) the system conf.'s instead of sending a Hookflash over the CO and then connecting the call (to Telco). The phone company has allowed trans.'ing over the phone lines and works from my butt set.
Have a great day!
Thank you very much.

I'm not sure on the IPK, but on the IPS you must enable "sending flash over CO line" as an option.

Hello to all again, Still not doing it. I thought it may be the CO setting. I changed it to PBX/CTX and it still is not sending out a Hookflash on the CO Line. I guess I will need to find someone who may still know this old system better than I. Any ideas on who I can call for Help?
Thank you very much! Have a great day!

I've just seen this thread. Are you trying to do something like a Centrex transfer from within the voicemail users mailbox or just a trunk to trunk transfer??

If I remember right you have to have trunk to trunk transfer enabled for Centrex also known as transfer disconnect.

The only sure way to make sure it can be done from those analog ports is to place an SLI card in the slot and test with your butt set. The ports have to have Station Trunk-to-Trunk Transfer, Unsupervised Conference both enabled in 1-8-08 for the VM ports. Also, "A Single Line Telephone cannot perform a Trunk-to-Trunk Transfer (R1700 or lower only)." This is from feats and specs.

Thank you Dans, I do have the Trunk to Trunk trans. enabled. Thank you Paulw, This is a Centrex feature and I did set trunks as Centrex. Thank you oldfashioned, I will have to check the software level. That sounds like it could be it.
Thank you all very much!
Have a great day!!

On an IPK you use the recall button to do a centrex transfer. I'm not sure if the vm can do this.
