No John, I haven't any Cisco or Nortel certs. That's why I was asking the question. I do wish to find out the steps i do need to move up in the industry. I have been a lead tech, project manager and operations manager for the cabling companies I've been with. I have been BICSI certified and can design an infrastructure but obviously i need more training. i don't take the knowledge that the folks on this board have, for granted. it's vast, and that is why i value the opinion of those who make this industry their lives. the client is always utmost in my mind and if i can garner knowledge that will aid them in meeting their goals then i will feel I've done them a service, as well as myself . so please, and others, feel free to post any input that you might feel is relevant to my situation. thank you for your input, sir.

While doing online training, it helped me to have a system available to work with while doing the training.
