Sorry for the length of this, but I'm trying to relate an odd ball issue...
I have an account (UX5000 system) with 18 IP devices.
Of the 18 devices, I have 1 - 3rd Party SIP device being used as a paging channel in Memphis (UX5000) is in Nashville
Because of a licensing problem that occurs occasionally, one of the IP phones stopped working. (the license file drops a license on occasion, leaving only 17 licenses)
The UX5000 is licensed with 14 standard IP licenses and 4 advanced
The tech that responded, thought it OK to delete the IP paging channel station (because it didn't have a MAC address, NEC told him to delete it - He didn't know what it was for)
That action "released" the ADVANCED IP license a 3rd party SIP device requires, and the "down phone" now took the now free'd up "advanced license" that was in use by the paging channel device (I originally brought the MULTITECH up first (accidentally) and it "correctly" pulled one of the advanced licenses.
NEC fixed the license file. Finally to my question: "Does anyone know how to identify "WHICH STATIONS MIGHT HAVE PULLED THE ADVANCED LICENSES?"
The 60 day license was applied to buy some time and the paging channel is again working in Memphis.
I want to bring them (the phones with the ADVANCED IP LICENSES) down, delete them (or just one of them) from the registered IP phones, (as well as deleting the Multitech unit) bring back up the MultiTech unit first, then bring the other 1 to 4 IP phones back up.
Other wise, I have delete ALL (well, 15 of them anyway)the registered IP phones to insure I've free'd one of the ADVANCED IP LICENSES.
Does anyone know how to tell (maybe thru "DIM") which phones have which license applied to it?
From "DIM", "IP INFO 3 1" and "IP INFO 3 3" do NOT show this information...
They close at 5P and they are extremely busy. I can't easily do this between 8 and 5. NEC tech said that they should be available in case something else raises it's ugly head. I agree...
Anybody know?
