The past couple of weeks, I have had system shutdowns, reason given is "remote procedure call terminated unexpectedly".
Windows XP.
Seems to only happen while online.
I have checked for viruses,have found none.
any ideas?

It is a dedicated dial up line.
I have ran the blaster and sobig fixes and they found nothing.

If this happens when on the internet it is probably the blaster virus. Your discription fits it, below is the fix.
