I'm looking for some cheap but useable fax software for my PC at home. I'm running XP, but the fax software that Microsoft includes isn't very reliable. What do you all use?

In the past I've used WinFax and had good luck with it. Efax.com will give you a free fax number if you're needing it for incomming faxes. Don't get suckered into paying $10/mo. for the local number unless you really need to go that route. You can have a free long distance fax number that will forward to your email box. We've been using them for years for all our guys who need to get faxes out in the field. You can fax out using their system as well, but of course there is a charge for that. On the original note, WinFax worked well for us. ------------------ ![[Linked Image from tracecarpenter.com]](https://www.tracecarpenter.com/images/macgyver.gif) Life would be easier if I had the source code.

I have been using Efax for some time and have never really been interested in trying anything else as it works great
