I'm trying to figure out why my logo looks choppy after publishing the flash animation... The preview window looks great, but the final product looks terrible. Any experts know any particular file types (.gif, .bmp, .psd, or other) that might remedy this?

I haven't done anything with Flash yet, but check out the forums at macromedia.com or tek-tips. they both have some good Flash Forums.

It sounds like when you play it for real, you're playing it in a much larger window so the image is distorted. The animation gets very lethargic as well if it's too big. Normally you will constrict the flash to a window inside a static .html file. Go to https://www.carpenter-group.com That is one of my sites. It will take a few seconds for the flash presentation to load depending on the speed of your connection. When the logo appears click on it to enter the site and start the movie. You'll see that it is constricted inside a frame. If I play that movie in full screen it gets very grainy and lethargic.

I know you were just talking about a logo, but perhaps the same issue is taking place. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the assistance. I like your flash presentation MacGyver. My problem ended up being my logo. I was using an image that had too low a resolution. Let me see... higher resolution clearer image? What a concept.

This is what happens when you get an old Sys Admin and get him to work with graphics and animation.
