I have a smallt desktop-configuration case that has short (height) PCI slots (about half the height of a regular PCI....the part that's short is the metal portion). I am looking for a modem that will fit, but can't seem to find a source for them. Newegg doesn't seem to have anything. Does anyone have any ideas so I don't have to end up suggesting an external modem?

I can look up in the graveyard if you want to give me some measurements. Lots of old USR stuff up there.
If not have you considered going with an external?

You can find one on Ebay for under $20.00
Drill down to: Computers & Networking> Desktop PC Components> Modems for Desktop PC> Internal
Then search on: Low Profile

Thanks! I was able to find what you were talking about, and forwarded the information on to a guy in our office who was looking for it. He was very thankful for the help!
