intercom communications between rooms, offices and throughout school.
I have a bid, but Im trying to convince the school district to put in a PBX and just restrict dialing. I didnt think schools still use intercom only systems, I thought they went the way of the Edsel........
Thank you.
Mitch

I know that the Rauland system will provide you with speakers between rooms. With the Rauland system you can also attach single line phones and attach POTS lines. This is basically a PBX with a Bell schedule and the ability to page into individual rooms.

Mitch, There are many manufacutures of school intercom systems. Roland is probably your best bet. It depends on the application and what they are looking for. I have installed phone systems with doorphones in each room for calling the main office and talkback paging in rooms for added convience. Find out what they really need and go from there! Most of the time they just want zoned paging and if you can give them talk-back paging they are very impressed. Viking and Volcom have nice systems that hookup to any phone system.
Good Luck!! JJ
If all else fails, use a BFH.
