I've got an HP LaserJet 3015 All-In-One. It installed on my Windows 98 and 2000 machines, but now that I got a new PC with XP Pro I'm having a problem. The scanner won't work, and each time at boot-up I get the message "Can't Open Printer. Failed to get handle." It still prints OK. I'm suspecting there's an issue with incompatible TWAIN drivers somewhere along the line. Can anyone shed any light?

Have you downloaded the XP scanner drivers for your printer from HP?

Thanks. Turns out if you dig deep enough on the HP site, there's a utility that will fix the problem.

I've found that in general, the HP software sucks, and tends to be finicky.
