We have a customer who, when they move to a new building this next March, wants us to set up their training room so that the only equipment in that room will be a projector, wireless keyboard and mouse, and speakers. His presentations would be off a server about 100+ feet away. Is this even possible? What equipment would be needed for this?

We have a similar setup in our training room, granted our computer is just on the other side of a wall. But Just buy some USB extension cords or Cat5->USB media converters.

Or something like this, a PS/2 KVM extender

Several different ways of doing this. I'll be more than happy to help guide you if you need it.

If they have not ordered their projector, have them look into one with wireless/abilities. I have installed some with software that will integrate the PC desktop with the projector. It basically integrates like a external monitor, but wireless.

Are there any that would work without a clear line of sight?

Of course. The units have an integrated 802.11 card and usually proprietary software. The last one we worked on was about 2 years ago, and I'm not sure of the make of model; it was provided by the customer. Here's what a quick search found
