Is there anyway to back up the system state in Windows Vista Business (32-bit) like you can in Windows XP?

You can do it using ntbackup. Heres a little guide on how to install it. https://www.petri.co.il/installing_windows_xp_ntbackup_on_windows_vista.htm As a general rule its best to install the system files in their own partition and all personal files on a different partition. This way you can isolate the partition that needs to be backed up and in the event of a virus or some other issue. You will just need to restore the system partition and your files will remain safe on their own partition. Of course you still want to back those files up as well.
