Has anyone tried it? Any "must-have" features, or pitfalls?

I'm tempted, but I usually wait for others to jump first, and then listen to them. I don't like surprises...

I saw that Monday, I think---I was given the choice to upgrade to 4---but I didn't do it. I'm like you---I'll wait until I hear about it from someone else. Usually their upgrades are just fine---but I'd rather not take a chance.

I'm using it w/o any problems. There are some add-ins that are not compatible but as a whole, it's very stable.

My wife just upgraded last night. I haven't received the offer yet. I'll post after she plays with for a while.

I as well, don't like being the 1st in line....

Install both Firefox 4 and Internet Explorer 9 on the home pc this week. My early impression is thumbs up for both, it's nice to see competition driving improvements.

Both make better use of the screen, compacting the bars across the top to give you more screen space for the actual webpage. So far neither have choked on a page and they seem about the same speed, which is faster than the Firefox 3.6 I was using before.

Firefox still has my plug-ins, so its the winner for me. It also supports Windows XP, which IE9 does not.

I've been using FF 4 for several days on two different machines (both running XP) and am quite happy with it. Seems faster than the earlier versions, pretty much like it felt in 2.0 days...

My $0.02 only...

How do you go back multiple pages without repititively hitting the back button?

Click and hold the back button, the little menu will pop up and you can choose which page to go back to.

Personally think it's better than Crome. FF4 is much faster on my setup than Crome was - and I switched to Crome since it was faster than FF3, goes to show.
