Keeps wanting to update my software, but the first time it came with a warning that it was not fully compatible with AVG and would turn off several features. Now I look for the warning and see nothing. Anybody have any experience/comments?

Got the same warning regarding Avast AV when I was upgrading my wife's computer to FF6.
Honestly, haven't noticed any differences, everything seems to be functional.

Same thing here---I just went ahead and upgraded, and everything seems normal with Mozilla & AVG.
