Does anyone have a good SSTV encoder/decoder?
Actually, to be honest I just want a TTY like terminal - a half-duplex BBS basically.
MMSSTV has been fine to send stuff back and forth, but id rather be able to actually just communicate with text then sending photos.

What about a flying-spot scanner? LOL.
Dude are you an amateur radio operator?

No; I'm just very interested in computers/telecom. Mostly on a networking level.
I do everything from xDSL/pppoe to php/mysql

Found a few TTY programs...but they all seem to pick up stray static and misinterprete it - none of them seem to be super accurate.
