I have two key voice NT based systems I am trying to test. Does anyone know the default login to these or how to recover the passwords?

I would appreciate it. I have a 4 port and 8 port corporate office that I think will be easier to sell if I have the passwords. I know there are some utilities to break the NT passwords, but some are unreliable, so I don't want to do anything drastic just yet.

Yes, these are the Corporate office voice mail systems built on the NT platform instead of DOS. As far as I know, it allowed for unified messaging. I talked to key voice this morning, and they said these units could be upgraded to Win2000 platforms running interchange for about $500 each. I just don't have the customer base that needs that robust of a system, mainly because very few run there own exchange server. I am just going to check them out and then sell them.

The default Technicians password should be 1234, I have a manual if it would help, and man it is huge. shoot me an e-mail and I'll put up so you can download it

When you click on the Database Administrator there are two levels of passwords that you can enter, The Customer level which is blank upon default and the Technician Level which is 1234 upon default so depending on what password you enter it will determine what level you access, You would want to try 1234 so you can have access to all programming fields. I hope they haven't been changed.

From the desktop you doulble-click the Database Administrator icon then you are prompted to enter a password, type 1234 then press Enter. that will get you in unless the password has been changed.
Have the files been transferred from the DOS to the NT? If not then you have some work to do. I'm not exactly sure what you are looking at yet. Do you have the manual?
