When using the tool to learn the system tones, Repartee cannot learn the hangup tone. This causes all the voicemails left to have trailing dial tone. My users have learnt to deal with it, but I will really like to clean it up. Does anyone know the settings to clean this up?

Do you know what the hangup tone is for that system?

I don't know the Mitel but if you can find out what the vm ports use for signaling a disconnect then I may be able help you on the Repartee side of it. Maybe you can ask in the Mitel section.

Ok, in the system integration field you need to find mitel. If not most systems use "d" tone to hang up. It should be added into the field as HUT=D
Good luck.

I tried to find the equivalent on the Repartee for Win 2k system, and in the Switch Settings dialog, I went to touchtones and chose 'Enable hangup touchtone' and changed the value to 'd' with no changes. Any other ideas?

You might need to call Active Voice. I'm sure they have an integration for your system. You might also want to check with Mitel to make sure you have your ports setup for voicemail.

Everything else is working and integrated, and I know there is a code, and where to put it, I just don't know what the code is.

Well then, get a digit grabber and put in on the line. That should tell you what the disconnect tone or sequence is if it's an analog port off the switch. Another question is this an SMDI integration?

Some telephone systems don't use a tone for disconnect. For example, loop current drop or reversal. I don't know if the Mitel uses loop current reversal, but make sure that the field "Disconnect on LCR" is set for yes.
