We use MVX Futura/Macro Voice 2004
Our office hours changed from 9am to 8pm Mon-Fri to 9am to 7pm
Mailbox 991 (Instruct) is chaining to #999 (Hangup) where I changed Night from 7:59pm to 6:59pm... and rebooted the computer too!
The caller is greeted with annoucement of office timings, bid farewell and hangsup!
But it DOES NOT! Even though night is 6:59pm, it still allows users to make their selections as if office was operational... and at 7:59 it does hang up!
Where else waht settings have I missed?
Thanks Mickey

Sounds like you need to set your voice mail time in military time and make your settings in military time. Most systems are this way so that the system knows when it is AM or PM.

I'll try it for sure... but what explains the fact that it works at 8:00pm and not 7:00pm?

did you check what time of day the VM and Phone system think it is? I don't know which it follows, but the probably are set seperately. Your in NY, it looks like it missed a daylight saving time change. mark

Daylight savings time is not the issue... I changed the time on Feb 27 to have the time change effective Feb 28th (Monday)
Office hours through Feb 25th was 9am-8pm. From Feb 28th, it changed to 9am-7pm
System continues to take calls through 8pm
There has got to be some place else where this kicks in... I have rebooted the switch and the computers
