Can you get rid of the long pause when the IVP8 calls a cell. phone to deliver a message. The system calls the cell phone and the user enters their security code and then there is a 7 to 10 second pause before the system states how many new and old messages the user has?

well one thng that you could do is to have the user go through and delete all old messages that are being saved in mailboxes. many old messages increase the latency problem wiht any harddrive based vms. the lag time is the computer going through the fat and then acessing the locations on the harddrive to be able to play the messages. less messages less latency time.
