I have a non-profit org that aquired a Nortel Telephone system with NAM. They are setup with two companies. I have setup the AA to answer with specific greetings during the day and night. There are two CCR setup. One for each company. The tree has one digit transfers set up to 3 digit extensions. This all works for the most part... My question is: How do you setup the "Do Nothing" within a CCR? I want it to ring an extension during the day and record to a specific mailbox at night. Thank you in advance.
Since I am a new member let me introduce myself. My Name is Duane. I worked on telephones, voicemail, T1, Multiplexers, etc... for 17 years in Western North Carolina. Mainly Mitel, Siemens, Tie, Nitsuko. I am certified on All Mitel and Nitsuko and Siemens sytems. Octel, Compass, Mitel Mail and all that. Sometimes you have to jog my memory on the products.
I currently administer the network for the City of Decatur, IL. 17 Servers, 300 PCs. Police, Fire, E911. I inherited several phone systems.. Nortel, Merlin, Spirit, NEC, and all the dang Cell phones.
Our WAN is mostly Wireless between buildings. Cisco Aironet Access Points and Cisco Routers and Switches everywhere.
