I have a Repartee Coral 7.46 that is running on OS/2 4.0. The product is a Tadiran VP but I have it running on a Comdial DSU via an ATI-D. Everything is working OK (set up as an analog, no serial connection, maybe later!) but not having a manual, I can't figure out why when the thing picks up I get about 4 seconds of dead silence and then the "operator" says that she didn't hear my selection and to try again. During this time, the port that picked up says "Opening Box" very breifly, then displays "Continued" and then after that it goes to my opening box that has been set up with menu choices. It does this even if going directly into a user box, not just through the opening box.
How do I get rid of, or at least minimize, the dead silence at the beginning?
Thanks!

It's receiving the dtmf vm id codes but it doesn't understand what it is receiving from the Comdial because the intergration is not correct.

When you log in, press f5 and then change the line that describes the integration.

Thanks, you have pointed me in the right direction. But, I don't have the integration codes for the Comdial DSU (no manual and the only switch codes supplied in setup are Tadiran)
I have Impact software, Rev 20a in the DSU. Can anyone assist with the codes?
Best regards, Tom

First, go the the reports field and see what is being sent to the vmail when a call is coming into it (not sure if it is internal call or outside call). You will need to go the avanalog.avd file and change the settings that are for the Tadiran to what is needed for the Comdial if there is no option to choose Comdial. You will need to know what packets the Comdial sends for various call types (user login, call forwarding to vmail, etc..) and modify the Tadiran settings. Any time you modify the file you should reset the system.

Anyone out there have an installation manual, and/or setup disks for this thing, including OS/2 Warp V4.0? Would like to buy a set so I can get it right.
Also, I'm looking for an older version of Ghost (found version 3 on eBay, is that early enough for OS/2?) so I can at least clone the hard drive!
