We have a customer who lost their vendor for the voice mail system an Octel 250 and has asked us for help. We have changed everything they wanted except for a couple of items. 1- Once the main greeting plays after it finishes a second greeting starts, this second greeting needs to go and we can't find it 2- When you press 0 while a mailbox greeting is playing it says "that is an invalid selection" we would like it to go to a 0 out location :bang:

Do you have console access, or just access through a telephone?
If you have console access, there should be a setting labeled "chaining." It might be called "continue" or "next" or something like that.
In each mailbox, there should be a setting for "one-touch options." This will let you set the "zero out" destination.

I may have the name wrong, it's been a long time since I worked on an Octel.

This is a while since the question you asked, but the option you are looking for is Attendant Destination in the mailbox profile. Once you specify a destination you must also set the schedule for the mailbox. Whatever number you put in that field, it will transfer the caller to that EXTENSION.
As far as multiple greetings, you will need to do some research on the mailbox types. It sounds like the first message is probably a conditional transfer mailbox, plays a greeting and sends you to another message that has the menu options. Unfortunately the application development is very tricky and would be very difficult to assist with in this mannor.
