I am swapping out a Callxpress 3 with a new Repartee and I want to duplicate the opening boxes and menu tree. I understand a little bit about the use of the call processors but not enough to connect all the dots, if you will. I sabed the congig data out to text files and printed it all out. It made quite a large book as the set up is quite elaborate. What I need is two fold. I need someone to explain how the call processors link together and the function of the differnt types of call processors. Secondly I need to know how to extract the audio files for the main greetings and the boxes connected to them. This is a hospital application having menu trees for various departments. I would appreciate any help I can get. All the best, Razzjammer

Is the AVT using Route Codes linked to time of day Answer Mode Call Processors ? Or are they using call processors that are active in a specified subscriber mailbox ? Let us know . Thanks

This is mostly a guess because I am not AVT fluent. I think mostly it is linked to time of day answer mode. How can I tell?

Log in and go to configuration . Item H is route code configuration . If you have entries that look like similar to this . 1235 phantom 04 dietary 1435 phantom 02 admitting then some routing is being used . so if the active answermode is 0000 then the active callprocessor for admitting would be 0002 . Simple yes ?

Ok now that I am home , without constant interuptions . Also in configuration there is an item listed as Answer Mode configuration . Look in there for the time of day or night that call processors change . If 0800 m-f is 0000 and 0930 m-f is 0300 . Then the active call processor for admitting changes to 0302 at 0930. You can then go to mailboxes menu enter 0302 or what ever matches in your system press f1 and the press 0-9 * # dialing destinations will be displayed . If the Hospital has a lot of dept's with did's that are answered by voicemail then you could have quite a number of route code entries .

I can't log in until Friday when I go back on site. I did save all the configuration data that I thought I would need in text files and printed them out in a book. I didn't list up route code configuration, however. I have a printout of the directory. It has listings like the following
0404, 0404 ESP 6860,6023, Villalonga, Patricia 0548, 0548 ESP 7022 B/O , 7022, Business Office 0549. 0549CP 7022 Office Close, 6023,Villalonga, Patricia
0000, Day Main Menu English, 0001, Day Secondary Menu 0002, Night Main Menu English
The headings seem to indicate the fields are the mailbox number, the mailbox name, the sponsor box, and the sponsor box name. So in my above example 0548 is sponsored by Mailbox 7022, Business Office. Indicating either these boxes will possibly lamp 7022 or that 7022 can record greetings for the boxes it sponsors??
I did find the answer mode configuration that says Day Main English 0000 answers at 08:00 and Night Main English 0002 answers at 21:00
Finally, I have a mailbox information report. Some things are obvious but I don't understand others. For instance, Mailbox 0000 says the next CP: 0001. Does that mean it goes to 0001 if the caller doesn't make any selections? Under key actions the first listing is TO Monitor xfr 0. Does that mean Transfer Option is a monitored transfer to 0 if the caller enters no numbers? These two items are confusing to me.
For language: default is entered in 0000 but in 0006 Language: 1 is entered. Does this mean I have a dual language machine and the caller will hear all prompt in the designated language?
Then there are mailboxes that are labled Message Center Mailbox whose function appears to be that of taking messages. How do I tell who gets the messages? There are boxes labled Announcement Mailboxes as well.
I should have said this from the outset. I am very grateful that you took time out from your undoubtably busy schedule to answer my myriad of questions. Perhaps someday I can return the favor. I work extensivly on NEC, Active Voice, and some Zeacom. I am certified on all three.
All the best,
Razzjammer

Ok I will make this short and then PM you in the AM when I can print . My printer is having driver issues again . An ESP is a call processor linked to a specific mailbox like 6860 . Mailbox 6023 appears to be the sponsor and yes that means she has admin rights to 0404 . You can have multilingual mailboxes . Call processors themself cannot lamp any phone . Next cp 0001 means it's a 2 part greeting call processor . "TO" Monitor xfr to 0 , means if no keys are pressed within the "TO" timeout period , default is 5 seconds . That a monitored xfr will be placed to extension 0 . Monitored meaning it is not blind . It will not release the call until it hears ringing , pull the call back if it hears busy and route the call to the programmed busy destination . If you have any more questions like this PLEASE PM me . This is too much for a basic question and answer forum . Thanks , Please understand where I am coming from on the request to PM me .

As a side note if 0000,0001&0002 are your only answermode call processors . Then I doubt you are using route codes . Which is a piece of luck for you if it works out that way . Thanks
